Connecting Your Webinar Platform -- ON24 or BrightTALK

Connecting Your Webinar Platform

This article will walk you through the steps to connect your ON24 and/or BrightTALK instance to your Integrate platform. This will need to be done once initially for each ON24 account or BrightTALK channel.

Before you begin...

You must have the webinar connector enabled for your team within your instance of the Integrate platform.

This is completed by the Integrate team, so if you haven't yet discussed the use of the webinar connectors with us, reach out to your Integrate Customer Success Manager. For more information on the process overall, see our article Webinar Connectors -- Getting Started.

Connecting to ON24

* Please note: API/Integration access feature is not standard across all ON24 accounts.

To confirm that your ON24 account has access to the API/Integration feature, navigate to your ON24 Analytics Dashboard and see if the module API Dashboard is present. If not, please contact your ON24 account manager for access before proceeding.

1.  Getting API Credentials from ON24

  • Log in to ON24, navigate to your Analytics Dashboard and select API Dashboard from the menu bar
  • Generate an API Key* by clicking Provision a New API Access Token -- This token is what allows Integrate to communicate with ON24
  • Copy the Client ID, Token Key, and Token Secret for use later within the Integrate platform

* If you have previously provisioned an API Access Token from ON24, you may instead use those existing credentials

2.  Connecting ON24 to Integrate

  • Log in to Integrate, navigate to Settings and select Integration Hub from the menu bar

  • Locate the ON24 tile from the Integration Library at the bottom of the page and select the "+" icon to open the modal

  • Within the modal, enter a name for your integration and fill in the credentials you collected from your ON24 account

Best Practice: We recommend using a naming convention that includes "ON24" and any other identifier needed to distinguish this integration from your others later on.

  • When all information is filled in, click the Integrate button to complete the connection
  • You will see the newly added tile in your System Integrations at the top of the screen

Connecting to BrightTALK

1.  Getting API Credentials from BrightTALK

  • Your API credentials are not accessible via the UI within BrightTALK. You will need to reach out to BrightTALK customer support to collect these
  • Send an email* to support@brighttalk.com requesting the API Key and API Secret for your BrightTALK channel

* For best results, it is recommended to contact support from an email that is listed as an Account Admin within the BrightTALK application.

2.  Connecting BrightTALK to Integrate

  • Log in to Integrate, navigate to Settings and select Integration Hub from the menu bar

  • Locate the BrightTALK tile from the Integration Library at the bottom of the page and select the "+" icon to open the modal

  • Within the modal, enter a name for your integration and fill in the credentials* you collected from your BrightTALK channel

Best Practice: We recommend using a naming convention that includes "BrightTALK" and any other identifier needed to distinguish this integration from your others later on.

* Temporarily, your API Key should be added as User ID and API Secret should be added as Organization ID. This is a temporary discrepancy that will be updated in an upcoming release.

  • When all information is filled in, click the Integrate button to complete the connection
  • You will see the newly added tile in your System Integrations at the top of the screen
